As of today, the Bay of Cadiz Port Authority is taking part in a logistics mission to Peru organised by Extenda within the Integrated Territorial Investment (OTI) of the province of Cadiz.

The objective of the meeting is to promote the facilities and services of the Cadiz port in the Ibero-American country, as well as to establish business and institutional contacts that contribute to the implementation of commercial connections between both destinations.

This morning (Spanish time) a first meeting will be held to address the logistical challenges of agri-food exports between Peru and Andalusia, to raise awareness of the main challenges and needs of the sector, as well as promote collaboration between Peruvian and Andalusian companies.

In this sense, it is worth mentioning the participation in the mission of some twenty companies of the sector as well as the Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras.

On the first day, both ports will have the opportunity to present their respective facilities and services, in two presentations, which will be followed by networking.

The morning of the second working day will focus on the development of meetings with different guilds, such as the avocado or grape, while in the afternoon a meeting will be held at the economic and commercial office of Spain in Peru.

The mission will end on Thursday with a visit to the Port of Callao.
